On and off over eight seasons I worked at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire, writing and directing original material that mixed magic, music, combat choreography and circus skills along with original and existing text (Shakespeare, Goldoni, etc.)  It was a great training ground, being able to tweak shows week after week before audiences of several thousand.  I thank those in charge for the confidence they instilled in a young theatre artist.
